Tracey Dunn, Director

Operations & Credit Control

Tracey graduated from City of Westminster University after studying Business Management and started her career at Marks & Spencer as a buyer. After starting a family, Tracey began working for a consultant as a Private Practice Manager, looking after all aspects of Billing and Collection. By 2011, the business evolved and together with her two business partners, Ellie Blacher and Martine Reuben, MediAccounts was born. Tracey has an extensive knowledge of private medical practice billing and her reputation as efficient, reliable and professional is the basis for MediAccounts success. Together with the skills of Ellie and Martine, MediAccounts provides an all-round service where the aim is to exceed the consultants' expectations in every way.

Tracey loves working, but also enjoys spending quality time with her husband Stephen, and her two children Olivia and Raffi, and her dog, Roxy.

Martine Reuben, Director

Development and Consultant Liaison

Martine graduated from Birmingham University and forged a career in Public Relations and Sales & Marketing. Her experience spans a variety of industry’s from luxury hotel chains to literary awards. Coming from a family of doctors, Martine is passionate that Consultants deserve to be paid promptly and fully. This is the basis of her drive for providing her consultants with the best service possible, and is always on hand to offer support and assistance as the MediAccounts Consultant liaison. Martine also heads up all MediAccounts Sales, Marketing and PR activity.

Martine loves the theatre, playing the piano and spending time with her husband Darren and her two children Ella and Paige.

Ellie Blacher, Director

Payments & Reconciliation

Ellie graduated from UMIST after studying Management Sciences BSc in 1997. She worked as an Account Director for various direct marketing agencies before retraining as a bookkeeper. Since then she has worked for a variety of SME clients with tasks including preparing management accounts, payroll and VAT returns. MediAccounts brings together all of Ellie's skills and experience. Consultants are drawn to her professional and well-organised approach when running their private practice.

Ellie likes nothing more than spending time with her husband David and children Jaimee and Molly and walking her beloved dog Lexi!

Dave Hurren

Insurance Expert & Operations

Dave comes to MediAccounts with many years' experience in Medical Billing and vast experience in credit control. Dave is the resident Insurance guru and an integral part of the team. There is no Insurance query that Dave cannot answer!

In his free time, Dave loves spending time with his wife and children and his grandson Freddie!

Michelle Williamson

Payments & Reconciliation

Michelle has been working in accounts and administration for many years and brings an array of experience to the MediAccounts team. Michelle works hand in hand with Ellie Blacher, to ensure all payments are reconciled down to the last penny.

When she is not reconciling payments for the MediAccounts doctors, she is spending time with her husband and two children.

Kalpna Patel

Payments & Reconciliation

With many years of billing and reconciliation experience under her belt, Kalpna brings a calm and organised aura to the MediAccounts team. Together with Ellie and Michelle, she completes the payments team.

Kalpna enjoys swimming and walking in her spare time and spending as much time as possible with her husband and 2 children.

Sam Ali

Self-Pay & Hospital Credit Controller

With a background in credit control, Sam brings huge expertise in this area.  His professional and gentle telephone manner is a real asset to the business and he represents our consultants in the most impeccable way. Sam’s sparkly personality is a real asset to the business and he brightens up the office every day.

In his free time, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

Viv Tibber

Team Administrator & Insurance Credit Control

Viv has worked for many years in administration, customer services and accounts. Viv works with the insurance companies and embassies to ensure all payments are made accurately and on time. 

Viv enjoys a spot of Pilates, cooking and keeps fit by running around after her three children.

Marion Secker

Team Administrator

With over 25 years’ experience in accounts and payments within a London borough council, Marion brings a huge wealth of knowledge and experience to the MediAccounts team - including working in debt collection. Over the years at MediAccounts, Marion has become specialised in all aspects of billing administration.

When she is not working, Marion enjoys spending time with her family, ballroom dancing and is Chairperson of her local Women's Guild.

Sue Davies

Medical Billing & Insurance Administrator

Sue brings a wealth of experience to MediAccounts, having spent over 30 years with NatWest Bank. Her extensive knowledge of accounts and billing is a real strength to the team, and she manages all insurance payments, ensuring they are handled promptly and with complete accuracy. She also firmly advocates for the doctors’ fees, making sure insurance companies pay what is due and are held to account where necessary.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys spending time with friends and family, has a fondness for all things pink or purple, and takes great pride in maintaining her amazing nails!

Charlotte Freeman

Team Administrator

Charlotte brings a wealth of experience across administration, billing and collections, making her an invaluable member of the MediAccounts team. As a natural problem solver, she takes ownership of all billing queries, ensuring they are handled efficiently, accurately and with real precision and gusto.

When not at work, Charlotte is a busy mum to 2 children, a dog called Oreo and a female cat called Jeffrey!

Daisy Gardner

Team Administrator & Embassy Billing

Daisy is MediAccounts’ very own ray of sunshine, working closely with the Administration team to support and resolve patient queries with care and efficiency. Her previous experience, combined with her exceptional people skills, makes her a truly valued member of the team and a natural at putting patients at ease.

Outside of work, Daisy is passionate about her cat Rosy, her beloved Smart Car ‘Sylvia’, and enjoys karaoke with family and friends—ideally accompanied by a strawberry daiquiri!

Lexi

Head of Security

Lexi is Ellie's rescue dog with a wonderful personality and zest for life. She loves chasing birds, going on long walks and sleeping in the corner of the MediAccounts office.

Reggie

Trainee Security/Backup Muscle

Reggie is Martine's pampered pooch who brings calmness and serenity to the MediAccounts office. In Lexi's absence, Reggie makes sure everything is running smoothly. He loves playing with his Lamb teddy and chasing squirrels.

In Memory of Stuart David Reece ACCA 1944-2022

Stuart was a retired Chartered Certified Accountant who worked in public practice from 1971 until 2012 as a senior partner specialising in tax enquiry cases. He moved to London from Manchester after he retired and managed the MediAccounts staff payroll and staff pension scheme.

Stuart was a real character who would light up a room with his northern humour and kind heart.
He was immensely proud of Martine, Ellie and Tracey and was their biggest cheerleader.
His support in the creation and success of MediAccounts will always be remembered.
